WHAT IS WARM MINIMALISM?

“For me, that translates into a welcoming space that gives a sense of calm. The details that seem to be the simplest are actually the ones that reveal the best design. The aesthetic described as minimalist and warm invites us to take a break and take us away from our busy daily lives. It's about creating a soothing sensory experience.”

WHAT ARE THE PREFERRED MATERIALS?

“Natural materials such as stone or wood to convey softness and warmth.”

WHAT COLORS TO USE?

“In general, I recommend those that reflect light such as white , focusing on one or two only.”

ADD TEXTURE

“We play with the textures for the rugs , the fabrics that cover the furniture and the elements that dress the windows like the curtains. For example, the experience of walking barefoot on a Flokati rug is both minimalistic and luxurious. It is important to take into account the lifestyle of the inhabitants (if it is a family, if there are pets, etc.) to choose the most suitable textures.”

REORGANIZE SPACES

“A big part of our job is to make it feel natural and easy to move from room to room. We also sometimes decide to add windows to let in more natural light. Minimalism goes hand in hand with simplicity and fluidity, which are key elements in creating this atmosphere.”

CHOOSING THE RIGHT LIGHTS

“The idea is to make a transition between day and night. Think about the activities that take place in each room (work, rest, etc.), who does them and at what time, to decide whether to opt for a rather soft or strong lighting . Also take into account where you live (cloudy or sunny) to decide the intensity.”

INTRODUCE PLANTS INDOORS

“Creating a connection with nature, even indoors, is something we advocate. Green tones contribute to a peaceful atmosphere and the presence of natural plants in a space is comforting, particularly during the long winter months.”
