Role Description

Working at a firm like ours, you will have the ability to learn all aspects of the project from concept through completion. Its a hands on role and we are seeking candidates who have a resourceful, can-do positive attitude and love design.

This is a full-time Interior Designer role at Sashya Thind in Wellesley, MA. You will be responsible for working closely with the Principal on projects, collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, creating layouts, selecting color schemes, materials, and finishes, and managing project timelines and budgets. You will work closely with the Principal and coordinate with architects, contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

— Proven experience as an Interior Designer (3+ years)

— Degree in Interior Design or Architecture Degree

— Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

— Strong creative and artistic skills

— Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

— Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

— Knowledge of building codes and regulations

— Experience in project management
